The Future Of Information Marketing

Posted in General, Internet Marketing at 3:26 am by Alok Jain

Just last week, I was interviewed as one of the experts in Dan Kennedy’s “Future Of Information Marketing” series. Here’s what they asked me:

“As a proven and respected leader in this industry…

1. What is YOUR vision and prediction for where the Future of Information Marketing is headed?

2. What is your #1 success tip for anyone considering information marketing or already involved?

3. What is the biggest challenge or pitfall that you feel holds individuals back from success in Information Marketing?”

You can listen to the interview below (just press Play). These interviews were designed to be precise, to the point and with zero fluff. So it won’t take much of your time.

Enjoy! And don’t forget to leave your comments below & share your views.

I will check out the web site.Seems there is so much info for sale and most of us do not know what to buy. When I have bought in the past, it was too complicated to put to use and I was very disenchanted. I have a lot of trouble getting people that I know to go to my web site. How will I ever get strangers to go there?

My opinion I think we have not seen anything yet.. things being the way they are are www is the future.

I have not been successful my self i am still learning but I am a thinker and I think that anyone creating information should certainly be honest and deliver the very best information available…check and double check what you are sharing.

cannot speak for the general public however there is plenty of information out there but while most people can read what is written not everyone me included comprehend what is being delivered. somehow there seems to be just something missing, to make things gel.

Jo Anne, that’s one issue I discussed in the interview - about how crowded info marketing is getting by the day. To be successful with information marketing, you must differentiate yourself from the rest of the crowd. Offer value to your customers/readers/subscribers.

now remember, I am talking about Information Marketing here - not Internet Marketing in general. The latter (which is sort of a HUGE superset to the former) is evolving by the day and presents tons of new opportunities every day, where early movers have a big advantage.

Great Alok - Please contact me and help me to make money online? I have been trying for about 4 or 5 years and can’t seem to make anything at all! Only adsense, ‘cents’ is the word there. Is Jon’s tools yours please?

I’m trying out your answer analyst. I just need to find a way out of this spending and not getting anywhere. Can you steer me in a direction that works please? I’m prepared to work at it, but there’s too many directions.

    Thanking you so much,

    Kathy

    Kathy,

Jon’s tools is a collaboration between Jon Leger and me. Answer Analyst is Jon’s software.

There are many frameworks which work and I let my subscribers know of these from time to time. The idea is to pick one idea that you’re comfortable with and devote your time to it. If you try too many things at once, you wont get the desired results.

Seems like you have it figured out, however, I am just starting and would like to know how you suggest I do it in the beginning. I am 68 and would like to share info that is wisdom driven and actually lived out so I know it works and is not just some theory. I am in the process of writing the articles and have about 6 to share. I need extra income and am thinking of asking $10.00 for the package via email or $20.00 in booklet form. I have looked at several ways of getting the business started but I need a plan to go buy. Since I am not a computer guru I would like the simplest way to go forward. Thanks in advance….john

    Right on, Alok!

    Solid information as always.

It’s easy to get distracted with new offers and techniques arriving in one’s email box almost hourly. Best to check your email once a day (very hard for compulsive emailers like me). Then take one approach that works and see it through, as Alok suggests. I know it’s difficult when it seems like you’re just spinning your wheels. But stick it out and do something consistently that will advance you in the direction of your desires and the tide will turn in your favor. Most give up when success is nearest. Keep going and expect that you’ll get there and you will.

    Alok,

Good to hear your voice finally, after reading so many of your words. I loved Project Quick Cash. I thought you wrote very clearly, and cut right to the chase without a lot of wasted words, and presented things that people could actually use.

I hope you continue to publish more … we need more techniques like you present.

Thanks for posting this, a great listen!

I agree that the information market is overcrowded but there are so many people out there who are aiming for a quick sale and not that many that are building long-lasting reciprocal relationships with their customers.
